What a thrill to finally be back on the stage and perform to a live audience, we’ve all missed you so much. A big big thank you right away to our Cape Town audience on Wednesday night, you were absolutely marvellous.
Nós estamos emocionados por finalmente estarmos de volta ao palco e para uma apresentação ao vivo, nós sentimos muito a falta de vocês. Um grande grande obrigado para nossa audiência na Cidade do Cabo na quarta-feira à noite, vocês foram absolutamente maravilhosos.
You’ve embraced our new repertoire and with your spontaneous applause at the beginning of many of the songs, you showed us immediately your appreciation and that even after three years you haven’t forgotten us and our music.
Vocês receberam nosso novo repertório com seu aplauso espontâneo no início de muitas canções, vocês nos mostraram imediatamente sua apreciação e que mesmo depois de três anos vocês não nos esqueceram e nem nossa música.
It felt great to sing a full show together and we’re very much looking forward to the shows around the world over the coming months. We had a day off in Cape Town yesterday before we travelled onto Johannesburg for the next show tonight. I was strolling around in the town and received so many wonderful messages of congra tulations from fans who had seen the show.
É um grande sentimento cantar um show inteiro juntos e nós esperamos ansiosos pelos próximos shows ao redor do mundo. Nós tivemos um dia de folga na Cidade do cabo ontem antes de viajarmos para Johannesburgo para o próximo show desta noite.
I even had a beautiful young lady sitting next to be at my breakfast table yesterday morning, she said she was a huge Il Divo fan and sang “The Prayer” for me, there, then, live and pure – what an incredible gift to receive from somebody, I was speechless.
Eu estava andando a esmo pela cidade e recebi muitas mensagens maravilhosas de congratulações dos fãs que viram o show. Eu até tive uma linda jovem sentada perto da minha mesa no café da manhã ontém pela manhã, el a disse que era grande fã do Il Divo e cantou “The Prayer” para mim, lá, puro e ao vivo – que presente incrível de se receber de alguém, eu fiquei sem fala.
In the afternoon I hired a Harley and went for a long ride through the wine lands and along the coastal roads. Biking doesn’t get much better than that! All in all, I must say that I definitely have to add Cape Town to the group of my favourite cities in the world. Thank you very much Cape Town for such a warm and wonderful welcome to our 2012 world tour and hopefully it won’t be another five years until we can come back here again. Love, Urs.
A tarde eu aluguei uma Harley e fiz um longo passeio pelas terras do vinho e ao longo das estradas costeiras. Andar de moto não foi melhor que aquilo. Incluindo tudo, eu devo dizer que eu definitivamente tenho que acrescentar a Cidade do Cabo para o grupo de minhas cidades favoritas no mundo.Muito obrigado Cidade do Cabo por uma acolhida tão calorosa e maravilhosa para nossa turnê mundial de 2012 e confiantemente não serão mais cinco anos até que nós voltemos aqui novamente. As some of you Il Divo fans know, this article came out yesterday and there was quite an uproar regarding the “blue-hairs”. It was hard to avoid the comments on facebook and twitter about it. I’m sure if the forum was working we would have heard about it there too. I think some people got upset because they take themselves too seriously and didn’t bother to question the source. Just because something has quotes around it doesn’t make it true.
When it comes down to it, we trust those who write to get the story straight. In this day and age, anyone can quote anything and make it sound different than intended. There are plenty of journalists out there who will take anything someone says and turn it around completely out of context. There are even plenty who will make up quotes. Obviously this is wrong, but it happens. I think those especially who are twenty plus years older then the guys and go to many concerts felt they were being insulted. It possibly hit a little close to home. David, Carlos and Seb have all apologized even though it was a misquote. David wrote a twitter essay explaining what was really said. The men of Il Divo have always been respectful to their fans, even the ones who have been less than respectful to them. Now frickin calm down.

Após um longo tempo trabalhando em OFF no site finalmente hoje dia 11/02/12 podemos dizer que estamos quase finalizando o mesmo para enfim podermos oferecer um espaço realmente a altura do Il Divo.
Esperamos que gostem do nosso cantinho e que participem conosco de todas as atualizações e nos dêem sempre a opinião sincera sobre os rumos do site.
Não temos parcerias como os demais sites, blogs e qualquer perfil em rede sociais com demias fãs do Il Divo e não faremos também estás alianças pois já temos um time seleto e, busca de informações e fotos atuais para ofereceremos aqui no site portanto não temos interesse nem em disputar e nem em união com os demais espaços como o nosso.
Não estamos querendo exclusividade nem nada do tipo apenas entendemos que não precisamos e nem queremos parcerias com outros que já estão por aí há mais tempo. Respeitamos o trabalho desenvolvido por todos mas escolhemos fazer a nossa parte sem elos.
